Bella Maria was established in 1995 in Athens, Georgia, for the primary purpose of providing ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles in the retail market. Soon after opening the warehouse and showroom on Commerce Boulevard, the business expanded to begin production of natural stone countertops. Initially founded as a family-owned business, Bella Maria expanded with success and brought in new talent and experience.
In 1997 the company became a state-of-the-art production through the purchase of additional new fabrication equipment. A new warehouse and production plant was built, and ground was broken on a brand new showroom on Mill Center Boulevard. At last there was a beautiful new facility for homeowners, installers, and builders to plan all of their tile and countertop needs. Bella Maria also offered waterjet artistry, medallions, and other decorative items for the home.
By 2002 the demand for Bella Maria’s products and services had grown to the point that a new showroom was needed. By the end of the year the company celebrated the grand opening of its newest showroom at Lake Oconee. Now Bella Maria is a ready resource for homeowners and contractors, stocking hundreds of thousands of square feet of tile in the warehouse, plus fixtures, accessories, tools and many other products. Homeowners can order their appliances directly through Bella Maria personnel and receive expert advice along with the best prices.
Today Bella Maria offers a new line of products for the homeowner and contractor- Bella Vista windows and doors. Offering the finest quality windows and doors with a European flair, Bella Maria works with customers to deliver custom orders directly to the job site.
